Duty Calls

OK, we know that Zionism is Labor's CORE value.

Now we know that rambamming is a Labor DUTY.

With regard to a proposal to ban sponsored trips to Israel coming up at February's NSW Labor conference, "A spokesman for Mr Shorten said: 'Mr Shorten does not agree with any attempt to remove the flexibility of members of parliament in the conduct of their duties while overseas.'" (Bishop calls for Shorten to stop ALP ban on Israel visits, Christian Kerr/Tessa Akerman, The Australian, 28/1/16)

I never cease to be amazed at how Zionist supporters toss common sense and their own national interest to the rubbish bin in the service of the repugnant cause Zionism. Shorten and Bishop are no exception in this race to the bottom of servility. Obviously Zionism is the core value for both the Labor AND Liberal parties. Just watch how their respective supporters react when the proposition that there is little difference between the two parties is mentioned.

How else to explain Bishop's call to Shorten to stop the proposed move to ban payed propaganda junkets to the Bandit State?

So Liberal and Labour are enemies, right?

Is Bishop's call to Shorten motivated by a desire to "help" the Labor party?

Could our benevolent and competent Liberal Foreign Minister Bishop be unaware of the famous Napoleon Bonaparte dictum: "never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake" ?

Perhaps the caption writer at the Australian had to hold back from the obvious headline: "BISHOP HELPS LABOUR FROM MAKING A GIGANTIC MISTAKE".

Both Labour and Liberal, and more importantly AUSTRALIA, could profit from the Lord Palmerston dictum that nations have no permanent friends or allies, only permanent interests.
